The Advantages of AdB15

B7 Special Diesel Additive

AdB15 is a B7 diesel additive for transport and construction professionals, the result of a 5-year collaboration with the Institut de Chimie de Nice, a leader in green chemistry research.

The Power of Plant Molecules

AdB15 acts at the molecular level to facilitate the breakdown of fuel molecules while preventing residual molecules from adhering to engine components.

Safe and Natural

Made from 100% natural, biodegradable vegetable oil from sustainable sources, AdB15 is non-flammable and contains no chemicals.

But Also

Protecting Industrial Assets

AdB15 requires no changes to your fleet of vehicles, engines or industrial plants. With performance well in excess of the European EURO VI emissions standard, it anticipates the tightening of legislation towards Euro 7.

Save On Every Litre of Fuel

AdB15 not only reduces fuel consumption (up to 15% savings) through improved engine efficiency, but also cuts maintenance costs (up to 14% savings).

A True CSR Approach

Your CO2 emission savings can be included in your CSR report, and become the CONCRETE proof of YOUR action for the climate.

Protecting the Environment

AdB15 is 100% plant-based, and delivers a cumulative reduction of nearly 70% in pollutant emissions (-15% to -20% CO2 emissions, -30% NOX and SOX, -15% fuel consumption).

5 Technologies in 1

AdB15 breaks down and removes carbon deposits that have built up on fuel injection systems, allowing the fuel to be properly dispersed in the combustion chamber.

AdB15 removes carbon build-up from valves, pistons and chambers, ensuring optimal fuel combustion.

AdB15 molecules create an anti-adhesion biofilm that prevents residual carbon molecules from attaching to the engine components. Dislodged carbon deposits are burnt off with the fuel during the ongoing cleaning process.

AdB15 molecules improve combustion efficiency during phases of non-optimized engine operation, bringing unburnt levels close to those obtained during optimal performance, thus reducing fuel consumption and pollutant emissions.

The self-cleaning effect combined with the anti-sticking effect and molecular bonding ensure optimum fuel combustion. With AdB15, the average combustion rate rises from 75% to 95%, considerably reducing unburned fuel and the build-up of carbon deposits.

FAQ

How much AdB15 can be added to fuel?

AdB15 is added at a rate of 1 litre per 800 litres, equivalent to 1.25 ml per 1 litre of B7 diesel.

What happens if I add too much AdB15?

The fuel can absorb a maximum of 1% more AdB15 than the indicated ratio. If more is added, the remaining AdB15 sinks to the bottom of the tank and remains available for the next fill-up.

Why does excess AdB15 end up at the bottom of the tank?

Diesel density is 0.85 to 0.86. The density of AdB15 is 0.88 to 0.89. As the density of AdB15 is slightly higher than that of fuel, excess AdB15 ends up at the bottom of the tank. When fuel is added to the tank, the additional AdB15 automatically mixes with the fuel.

Does AdB15 mix easily with fuel?

Yes, the best method is to add AdB15 to the tank first, then pump in the fuel. Mixing occurs naturally in the reservoir, without any further human or mechanical intervention.

Explain the combustion process after the addition of AdB15?

Diesel engines are designed for optimum performance between 1,500 and 2,000 rpm. Diesel engines are designed to make the most of the fuel molecules within these engine speeds. Outside these speeds, the molecules are degraded less and less correctly as the engine moves away from its optimum speed. The partially undegraded molecules are then expelled as unburnt fuel. By adding AdB15, combustion efficiency improves considerably during phases of non-optimised engine operation, bringing unburnt levels close to those obtained at optimum efficiency, thus reducing fuel consumption and pollutant emissions.

Is AdB15 a new product?

AdB15 is the result of a research and improvement program with the Université Côte d’ Azur and its partners, the CNRS and the Institut de Chimie de Nice. The AdB15 received its EN 590 certification in 2023.

Have there been any engine problems after using AdB15?

This product has been tested and proven by customers all over the world and on a wide range of vehicles, with no negative results.

Will using AdB15 damage my engine?

AdB15 cleans, protects and improves fuel efficiency while reducing maintenance. AdB15 has been certified by the SGS Drive Technology Centre to ensure that no material changes are made to the fuel, and that it remains compliant with EN 590 standards, also required by car manufacturers when AdB15 is added.

What's the difference between AdB15 and biofuels?

Biofuels are modified diesel fuels designed to reduce the use of fossil fuels. AdB15 is an additive specially designed for B7 diesels to reduce fuel consumption while minimising its polluting effects by optimising the fuel’s properties.

Where do the raw materials for AdB15 come from?

All our plant compounds are derived from sustainable agriculture and comply with European environmental standards. Wherever possible, we prioritise cost-effective sourcing and actively ensure that ethical standards are respected throughout the production process, in line with our values.

Why is AdB15 unique and different from other fuel additives?

AdB15 is unique in that it is the only 100% natural (bio), non-flammable fuel additive specifically developed for B7 diesels, so it can be used permanently in engines, unlike other additives, in compliance with European standard EN 590.

What's the difference between AdB15 and commercially available injector cleaning additives, for example :

AdB15 is an all-natural solution to engine and injector cleaners that use dangerous chemicals, but it does so much more!

  • The first part of the active molecules in our patented formula cleans carbon deposits from the engine.
  • At the same time, other specific molecules combine with the fuel molecules and contribute to more complete combustion, reducing smoke and emissions while optimising engine performance outside its optimum operating ranges.
  • Finally, the other molecules act as a lubricant with repellent properties towards carbon molecules, preventing the formation of new deposits and keeping the engine clean and running at peak efficiency.

This allows you to get the most out of your engine and spend less by using fuels with proven results.

What is the purpose of diesel sulphur content?

Sulphur acts as a lubricant in diesel engines. However, as it is harmful, government initiatives have been put in place to reduce SOx emissions. Reducing sulphur content increases engine friction and fuel consumption. AdB15 helps to improve engine lubrication, thus offsetting the reduction in sulphur content with a cleaner alternative.

What's the difference between Ad blue and AdB15?

Ad blue is added to diesel vehicles, which must meet the latest standards for authorised pollutants. A mixture of urea and demineralised water stored in a tank separate from the car’s fuel, it adds tiny quantities to the exhaust gases when the car is running, transforming NOx into diluted ammonia. Ad Blue acts in the engine exhaust line, i.e. at the engine outlet, whereas AdB15 acts as soon as it enters the engine. As a result, for certain types of engine with limited temperature rise, Ad Blue can crystallise in the exhaust gases and cause breakdowns, unlike AdB15.

Ad blue only deals with NOx emissions. What about other emissions?

Yes, Ad blue only concerns NOx emissions. For other emissions, governments have introduced bio diesel (B7 and B10). These fuels have a reduced sulphur content and reduce THC (total hydrocarbons) by 7 to 10%.
